Naples is one of the largest and most beautiful cities of the Mediterranean. Capital of the Campania region, the town overlooks the bay of the same name, which extends from the Sorrento peninsula to the volcanic area of Campi Flegrei. Stop by for a very impressive sight, of the imposing volcano Vesuvius and, in the distance, three magnificent islands - Capri, Ischia and Procida. Naples tells 2500 years of history and has been included in 1995 in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Sorrento is small jewelry close to the sea. It sits on a terrace of tuff volcanic stone overhanging the sea. In this corner of paradise, indented and inaccessible coasts alternate to small and hidden beaches. A unique landscape creates the famous Costiera Amalfitana which includes Sorrento. The most inaccessible areas today are transformed by a series of terraces down to the sea, used to grow citrus, olive trees and vines. These gardens give off heady scents of orange, lemon and orange blossoms. Check out for music, sea, entertainment and nature, but also for history and culture in Sorrento.
