The National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia is a Spanish national park that includes the Galician islands of Ons, Cíes, Sálvora and Cortegada. This park has a total area of 8,480 hectares, 86% of which consists of pristine sea and its rich seabed.

The Maritime National Park Atlantic Islands of Galicia is the only national park in Galicia and together with Cabrera (in the western Mediterranean) the only two maritime national parks in Spain.

The park consists of four groups of rocky islands, each of them has a great history and natural and scenic value. There are numerous beautiful cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, secluded beaches, dunes, castles, legends and the most important and spectacular seabird colonies on the Spanish coast, as well as seabeds of great biological wealth.

Its strategic location between the Atlantic Ocean and the Rías Baixas creates a natural barrier that protects the estuaries of Pontevedra, the Ría de Vigo and the Ría de Arousa.
