Ferry Marettimo

The island of Marettimo is the westernmost of the Egadi Islands, an archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea off the west coast of Sicily. Its name derives from the Greek "Hierà Nésos", which means "Holy Island".

This land was inhabited by ancient peoples such as the Phoenicians, the Romans and the Normans, who have left numerous historical testimonies on the territory of this wonderful island.

The magnificent cliffs, the sea, the lush vegetation and the many natural paths make it the perfect vacation destination for those who love hiking and being in nature. Not to be missed are the famous Casa Romana, from which you can observe the maritime traffic that has taken place since ancient times, the Norman castle and Monte Falcone, the highest mountain on the island.

Connections to Marettimo are active throughout the year and are intensified in high season to accomodate the increasing number of visitors. The duration of the trip is usually quite short, but varies depending on the route chosen and the shipping company performing the crossing.

During the crossings aboard hydrofoils or ferries to Marettimo, guests can settle comfortably in the deck passage, on free seats or on sofas and, if accessible, on the outside decks.
