Ferries to Great Britain All the ferry companies on Mr Ferry!

Great Britain is a large island in Northern Europe that lies between the North Sea and the English Channel. Its territory is divided between England, the largest nation in the center, Wales, which occupies the south-west, and Scotland, the northernmost nation.

From an administrative point of view, Great Britain is part of the United Kingdom, which also includes Northern Ireland. Britain is undoubtedly one of the most popular travel destinations in the world thanks to its historical and cultural heritage, the variety of landscapes it offers and its fascinating cities, where modernity and tradition blend perfectly.

A number of sea routes have been established between the UK and neighboring European countries (Spain, Ireland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark) and the shipping companies offering these services are Irish Ferries, DFDS, P&O Ferries, Stena Line and Brittany Ferries.

Ferries to Great Britain Connections and travel options

The shipping companies Brittany Ferries, DFDS and P&O Ferries offer connections from Great Britain, from the ports of southern England (Poole, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Newhaven and Dover) to France (Dieppe, Calais, Dunkirk, St. Malo, Chebourg, Roscoff, Le Havre and Caen ).

UK departures are also planned from the main Irish ports of Dublin and from Northern Irish ports such as Belfast and Larne to the Scottish port of Cairnryan and to the English ports of Liverpool and Heysam. Further departures to Great Britain are planned from the ports of Dublin, Cork and Rosslare to the Welsh ports of Fishguard, Holyhead and Pembroke.

Departures from Wales and England to Ireland are operated by P&O Ferries, Stena Line and Irish Ferries. There are other departures from England to the north of Spain, from the ports of Plymouth and Portsmouth to Bilbao and Santander, operated by Brittany Ferries. The shipping company P&O Ferries operates a connection from England to Belgium from the port of Hull to the port of Zeebrugge; which also provides departures from the port of Hull to the Dutch port of Rotterdam.

Other ferry connections from England to Holland are operated by DFDS, from the port of New Castle to the port of Amsterdam, and others by the shipping company Stena Line from the ports of Harwich and Killingholme to the ports of Rotterdam and Hook of Holland. A sea connection is also planned from England to Denmark, from the port of Immingham to the port of Esbjerg, which is also offered by Stena Line. There are garages on board the ferries to Great Britain where vehicles can enter; all services such as toilets, bars and restaurants, recreation areas for children and young people, armchairs and cabins for every need are available to passengers. Pets are allowed on board, but travel conditions vary depending on the shipping company.
