The island of Lanzarote (port of Arrecife) can be reached from the Spanish port of Cadiz once a week with a navigation time of about 26 hours, operated by the company Trasmediterranea.
Regular departures to Lanzarote are scheduled all year round from the other islands of the archipelago: from the port of Arrecife to the port of Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), to the port of Morro Jable (Fuerteventura) and to Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Santa Cruz de La Palma.
During the high season there are other connections from Lanzarote to the island of Fuerteventura, from the port of Playa Blanca to the port of Corralejo and to the island of La Graciosa, from the port of Orzola to the port of Playa de Sebo; on this last route only foot passengers are allowed to board.
On board the ferries to Lanzarote there are garages for the embarkation of various vehicles, pets are also allowed on board, which can be accommodated either in the kennels or in the Pet-Friendly cabins, depending on the travel conditions; in any case, a reservation is recommended.
