Ferries Milazzo Palermo Ferry companies timetables and offers on MrFerry!

Palermo, the main city of Sicily, is a city rich in history and culture, which can be easily discovered thanks to the many ferry crossings offered by the major shipping companies.

One of these routes is the Milazzo Palermo, which allows you to visit the Sicilian capital. The route is operated exclusively by Liberty Lines, which makes 7 crossings a week.

The distance between the two ports is about 90 nautical miles, which the company covers in about 5 hours.

🗓️ The route is seasonal, operating only during the high season months, from April to October. The frequency of departures may increase, so we recommend that you always check the timetable before booking.

🚗  Passengers will be able to use fast hydrofoils instead of traditional ferries, which do not have on-board garages, so it will not be possible to travel with a vehicle in tow. Passengers can conveniently rent a car or scooter once they disembark in Palermo.

🐕 Have you decided to travel with your pet? You've come to the right place! Pets are welcome on board Liberty Lines hydrofoils, but there are a few rules they must follow. Pets are not allowed in areas where the onboard bar/cafeteria is located and must be kept on a leash at all times.

🧳 Liberty Lines allows passengers to carry one piece of carry-on baggage with weight restrictions based on the length of the itinerary. We recommend that you review the transport conditions of the company before departure.

Ferries Milazzo Palermo On board services

Although these are hydrofoil boats and the route is short, there will be a number of on-board facilities that passengers can use to have a pleasant and relaxing crossing.

☕ A bar/cafeteria will be available to welcome passengers with excellent apéritifs or breakfasts, air-conditioned lounges, toilets, outdoor solarium, a luggage room and satellite TV.

💺 On board, the only accommodation available is the deck passage, as these are hydrofoils, there are no cabins available, but passengers can relax in the air-conditioned lounge chairs, at the bar tables or, if the ship permits, outside.

Assistance services for passengers with reduced mobility or disabilities will be available upon request and reservation.

🐕 If you have decided to travel with your pet, you will need to remember to have everything you need with you for its boarding. You will need to have a leash and muzzle, a carrier in case it is a cat, and health and vaccination documentation.

➜ What to see in Palermo:

The first stop on your Palermo vacation should be the Cathedral, where you can admire different artistic styles. Inside you will see the tombs of Sicilian monarchs.

The Quattro Canti or Piazza Vigliena, an intersection of two streets where architectural structures with fountains and statues decorate the corners.

Don't miss the Teatro Massimo, one of the most famous theaters in Italy.
