Visit the district of Alinda, where you will find all the necessary services and nightlife! Thanks to its clubs overlooking the beach, which is particularly suitable for children due to its shallow waters.

The island's port is Lakki, built by the Italians in the 1930s, and its streets are lined with fascist-era buildings. Agia Marina is the main town, with its majestic Byzantine castle overlooking the bay. One of the most picturesque and characteristic places is the church of Agios Isidiros, built on a rock in the middle of the sea. We recommend that you visit it at night, when you can enjoy the lights and the peace that surrounds it.

➔ Located in the northernmost part of the Aegean Sea, the island of Limnos, thanks to its location, is far away from the masses and is appreciated by selective tourism for its special features.

Thanks to its volcanic origin, there are numerous thermal springs all over the island, where you can relax and take care of yourself! Throughout its history, the island has played a key role in the defence of Greece, and the Hellenic Air Force base is still there today.

Because of the island's position, Limnos was the scene of major battles during the First World War. Visit the Commonwealth graveyard in the second largest village, Moudros.

There are many archaeological sites in the old town. These include Efestia with its famous theatre and Poliochni, the prehistoric village. The island is also famous for its beautiful sandy beaches. These include Avlonas, Agios Thanos and Ioannis, it will be your best holiday ever!
