I don't understand why the ticket says not valid for boarding - this is worrying and confusing me. Do I get another ticket then?
Dear Customer, we kindly inform you that several ferry companies do not issue directly a ticket valid for boarding, but just a voucher. The tickets were emailed to me but were not accepted by the ferry. I had to leave the line and go to the ticket office to acquire new tickets for a later ferry. In the future I will not use this service and will opt to go directly to the ticket office.

Bought online. Ticket received says 'This ticket must be printed & presented to our crew at the time of boarding" but you can't use it to board. It should be called a voucher and say to present to port office to exchange for ticket. Should be able to present email to port office to get tickets instead of printing out. Onboard crew were great & waited for me to run to port office to get ticket.

The voucher you have received by email also reports that for that specific Company is mandatory to perform the check-in at the port offices, just below "This ticket must be printed & presented to our crew". Great source of public transportation. Boat was late in the early morning arriving to the dock, so account for some kind of lateness - ours was about 30 minutes late. Other than that, getting onto the boat is a little unorganized and crowded. Also it's important that you go to the ticketing booth to get a print out of the tickets if you booked online - was not about to get on without checking in.

After entering all of my credit card information for some reason it was not processed. The e-mails I received were helpful in figuring out why the initial process did not go through. One issue I found was when receiving my ticket confirmation, my whole family came up as males, I do not recall being asked to provide sex of passenger. I hope this will not be a problem when boarding.

Great service! Thank you very much! I strongly can recommend Capri ferry bookings using this service even though the booking fee of EUR 12.00 is quite high compared to the ferry ticket (EUR 18.00) but it is worth while having a confirmed ticket to avoid standing in line at the port.

The site is easy to use, but for a foreign which does not know every city and stop, it would help to have a description and map for each stop - for instance, Napoli has 4 options, I could not be sure about which one to choose. Also, my wife was labelled "male" in the ticket, although I had no option to add gender when buying! That was upsetting!

It was actually hard to find the site, and the fact that my Travel agency did not know how to get from Italy to Sicily didn't make it any easier. When I at last found it, I had no problems using it, and got response very fast.

Tickets were not sent via email, could not print to board the ferry or call the office as the opening hours were after the departure time at 8.05am. Easier and cheaper to buy tickets at the port costing only 19.10 with no €12 booking fee. Just go straight to the ticket desk at the port.
