Tilos ferries About Tilos

The beautiful island of Tilos, located in the Dodecanese archipelago, has a small village the Megalo Chorio, with interesting architecture.

The island has been inhabited since ancient times, and rock paintings and many skeletons of dwarf elephants have been found in the cave of Charkadio.

The village of Lavadi has markets, tavernas and a beautiful pebble beach. The island invites you to take long walks or hikes among the hills covered with fig trees and olive groves, where you can admire about 400 different species of flowers.

On your way you will find the monastery of Agios Panteleimon, built inside a cave or the castle of Megalo Chorio, which will take you on a pleasant walk with a magnificent view.

If you love ancient history, add to your itinerary the Paleontological Museum, where you will find the remains of the prehistoric elephant found on the island.

The beaches are almost all white pebbles, Livadakia and Lethra the most famous.

The island of Tilos is beloved by Greeks, so if you decide to visit in the high season, we recommend booking your tickets in advance!
