🌍 Novalja is a port town located about 20 km northwest of the island's capital, Pag. The port of Novalja is the main port and the tourist centre of the entire island.

The port is structured to provide up to 100 berths for boats up to 20 metres in length, but also welcomes private boats, fishing boats and tourist vessels.

Near the harbour there is a beautiful promenade that stretches from the harbour to the main beach of the town.

The connections are provided by the shipping company Righetti Navi (or Gomo Viaggi). The trips are made mainly in the high season months and the duration does not exceed 3 hours.

Near the town are the most beautiful beaches in Novalja, the most famous being the Zrce beach, 500 meters long and all covered with pebbles. It is ideal for families and children, but also for younger people.

• Not to be missed are the Pag Salt Pans, facilities created for the extraction of salt from seawater. You can visit them with a tourist train.

🏨 Around the port already, you can notice several clubs that hint at the fun that can be found. Also, around the port area you can find hostels, apartments, and bed and breakfasts since there are not many hotels.

Although full of entertainment the city also has deep historical roots, its historic center has a Roman origin, in fact you cannot miss the famous mosaic floor of the Church of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary. 

Don't miss the Roman aqueduct, which is also the most famous monument in the entire city; it is also known as Talijanova buža.

🏖️ The beaches of Novalja are known because they host techno music nights and house music festivals. Their beauty, however, does not stop at just that; they are true corners of paradise. The most famous is Zrce, it is almost 3 km long and consists of white pebbles and sand.

You can also visit the Ancient Salt Pans, they are located between Vodice and Prosik. Thanks to their presence, the island of Pag has experienced exponential development in trade. You will be able to visit them via a tourist train service provided by the town.

The port of Novalja can be reached by shuttle bus from Zadar airport, which is 90 km away.
The highway station, 400 m from the passenger terminal, offers connections to major Croatian cities such as Zagreb, Split, and Zadar.
