→ Ferries to Milos will take you to the village of Adams, where the main port is located. This fishing village is definitely worth visiting with its typical white houses with colorful windows. The road system on the island is well maintained and it is possible to rent cars or scooters when arring at the port. There is also a cab and a bus service connecting the various villages and the main beaches. 

HERE IS A TIP:  if you want the cheapest tickets on the market, ideally you should look for them months in advance so as not to fall into the trap of the high season when prices soar!

Adams will be the first village you set foot in, main port of the island situated in the perfect location for discovering the island at its best. The island's capital is Plaka, built to defend against pirate attack is located on a small hill you can watch one of the most spectacular sunsets over the Aegean Sea.

Pollonia, the island's second port, is located in the northern part, from which you can embark to reach the island of Kimolos in only 15 minutes.

→  Definitely not to be missed is a visit to the catacombs in the village of Tripiti which can be visited on a guided tour.

Do not miss out this volcanic island with a curious horseshoe shape, also called the island of colors for its rock formations with surreal colors and shapes and the shades of the sea: blue, turquoise and emerald green, a real paradise on earth!
