Planning your summer vacation to the stunning island of  Formentera? You are in the right place! Check out all the ferry crossing in real time on MrFerry!

At the western end of the island is the port of Formentera - La Savina, a must for all visitors, as all ferry from Ibiza, Barcelona and the island of Mallorca dock here. This port extends from the Estany des Peix and ends at Sa Sequi. Over the years, it became a key point for the export of the harvested salt and various infrastructures were developed to facilitate its transport. Nowadays, all these facilities are used for tourist activity and the port has become the main source of supply for the whole island.

→ Ferries leave from the port of Formentera to the ports of the neighboring island of Ibiza and the port of Palma de Mallorca. The port of Formentera is connected to the Spanish mainland and the ports of Barcelona, Valencia and Denia.  Several shipping companies provide crossings to and from Formentera:  Balearia, Mediterranea Pitiusa, Trasmapi , Trasmed , Aquabus and Ibiza Sea Cruises

The Formentera ferry terminal is modern and has many services such as cafeterias, information desks, restrooms, a parking lot outside the terminal and a beautiful  promenade that runs alongside the port. There are several bars and restaurants where you can have a drink and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the port.

HERE IS A TIP: if you want the cheapest tickets on the market, ideally you should look for them months in advance so as not to fall into the trap of the high season when prices soar!

Formentera ferries About Formentera

The island of Formentera is the smallest of the Balearic islands and is almost always combined with the typical fun vacation on the island of Ibiza
Formentera will give you the best sunsets ever seen by the sea while eating a delicious seafood paella.
A true paradise on earth, the island has been declared a Natural Reserve and World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The main village of Formentera is San Francesc Xavier, where there is the first church built on the island and once used as a fortress to defend themselves from pirate attacks. If you are looking for bars and restaurants the village of San Ferran is the right place!

Formentera is the ideal destination for a summer vacation with its postcard beaches. The flatness of the island makes it possible to discover it easily by bike. By the port area are also available scooter rentals.

→  Traditional cuisine and some of Formentera's best-known products can be found on the stalls of local markets and in Formentera's restaurants, such as "peix sec" (dried fish), liquid salt, fresh cheese or herb liqueur.
