Ischia Forio is located on the west coast of the island of Ischia, the port of Ischia Forio is situated between two promontories: Punta Caruso and Punta Imperatore. The port can receive small and medium-sized boats.

The port of Ischia Forio is directly connected to the port of Naples and the Beverello pier, located near the main port and offering direct access to downtown Naples. There is a parking lot next to the port of Ischia Forio. Every year visitors choose to visit this seaside location that offers fun, nature, and wellness. Bikes, cars, and scooters can be rented at the rental located right in front of the hydrofoils boarding pier. Coffee shops, ice-cream shops, restaurants and grocery stores are all available in the port area. Bus and taxi stations are also available nearby the port.

The port of Forio d'Ischia is directly connected to the port of Naples. The sailing lenght is about 1 hour and 20 minutes and is managed by the ferry company Alilauro.

Ischia Forio is considered the cultural center of the island of Ischia, as over the years it has been a meeting point for many celebrities from the worlds of entertainment, culture and politics. Forio's main monuments are the Soccorso Church and the Torrione Tower, two symbols of the town, both perfectly preserved. As for beaches, Sorgeto is a real spa in the middle of the sea where you can enjoy a mix of hot and cold water, salt water and fresh water, and Citara beach, known for the legend about the benefits of its waters. Near Forio, visitors can discover Ischia's largest thermal park, “I Giardini di Poseidon,” which contains more than 20 thermal pools and a private beach that forms an oasis of peace. In front of the hydrofoil dock for Forio d'Ischia, it is possible to rent cars, scooters and bicycles to conveniently visit the island's beaches.

Dedicated services for passengers on hydrofoils to Forio d'Ischia are available along the port area, thanks to the proximity to tourist venues it will be possible to take advantage of refreshment facilities such as bars, ice cream parlors, diners and markets.

The port area offers a good bus and cab service to get around in total comfort.
