Chalki is connected to the island of Anafi , Diafani, Iraklia , Karpathos, Kassos , Milos,  Piraeus, Rodhes , Sitia and Thira by the ferry company Anek Lines. 

→  The small port and only village on the island is painted in pastel colors, where everything is at your fingertips, you can visit the whole island by walking! On the island there is no pulic trasportation and very few cars. Taxi service is available from the port during high season. 

When booking with MrFerry, once you chose your departing time and dates you will be able to choose your accommodation. This can be a standard accommodation, which includes the right to board and to use any services you wish but does not reserve you any seats or cabin. To do so you can book a seat in the reserved lounge or a private cabin with restroom by clicking on the corresponding icons.

HERE IS A TIP: if you want the cheapest tickets on the market, ideally you should look for them months in advance on Mr Ferry so as not to fall into the trap of the high season when prices soar!

As soon as you arrive in Chalki you will find yourself admiring the small harbor from which you can easily reach your destination in a few minutes, given the very small size of the island where you can move around freely on foot and enjoy the seafood specialties of the many restaurants scattered around the town. 

Among the island's main attractions we definitely find the beaches!
If you prefer sandy beaches, you certainly cannot miss Patamos, not far from the main port in a small bay. For snorkeling, Paralia Ftenagia beach is absolutely the best choice... do not forget to bring your swimmng mask! 

The small island is a true paradise for hikers: you'll find hiking trails for all levels and for various durations which will take you to the village of Chorio with its medieval castle, as well as the monastery of St. John.
