Cairnryan is a village in the South West of Scotland. From Cairnryan ferries depart for Northern Ireland to the ports of Larne and Belfast. Up to 16 departures are scheduled per day to both destinations.

There are two ferry terminals in Cairnryan: one in the North and one in the South, about 2km apart.

In the North terminal, the shipping company Stena Line serves the feeey line Cairnryan Belfast. For convenience, the port features a large parking lot up to 300 spaces. The Cairnryan terminal also offers a ticket office, restorooms/nursery and a car rental office. Before departure, travellers can wait comfortably in the terminal's waiting lounge or at the coffee shop and enjoy the free Wi-Fi.

Ferries from Cairnryan to Larne sail from the terminal located to the South and are operated by P&O Ferries. There is a bar and a small shop in this side of the harbor. Short and medium term parking is also available. Several ferry departures from Cairnryan are scheduled daily from both terminals.

Cairnryan is a small village with a supermarket and some B&Bs to host travelers. Located 10min from the town of Stranraer, visitors have access to many hotels, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and petrol stations.
