Alcudia is a fascinating and peaceful city, surrounded by city walls and its streets are characteristic with elegant medieval and Renaissance palaces. The old town is welcoming with its small stone houses and its restaurants and outdoor cafes to taste the delicious typical cuisine.

The places to visit absolutely are the ruins of the Roman City Pollentia  which is located just outside the medieval walls of Alcudia and became, in the first 3 centuries AD, the most important Roman city in the Balearic Islands. The ruins include the House of the two Treasures, the best preserved domus of the 3 that have survived to the present day, the Forum, the Roman Theater and Capitolium temple.

Emerald green and white sand beaches await lovers of relaxation: Platja d'Alcudia and Platja de Muro.
