The company Siremar performs the crossing by ferry all year round, from Sunday to Friday, with one departure a day.
During the high season the company Liberty Lines connects the two island by hydrofoil with two or three daily departures, making it possible to also make a roundtrip in the same day.

The Siremar ferry also performs the long journey to Porto Empedocle, so it offers all comforts to its passengers, including a bar, a restaurant and seats in a dedicated area. Pets are allowed on a leash on the deck and in some internal areas. No baggage limit is applied.
The Liberty Lines hydrofoils are the fastest way to travel between the Pelagian Islands and offer reserved seats, toilet facilities and sometimes a small bar service. Pets are allowed on a leash or in small cages provided by the passenger. One piece of hand luggage per passengers is included in the ticket; any luggage exceeding in number or size can be booked or added directly at the port at a small fare.
