➔One of the largest islands in the Dodecanese is beautiful Rhodes, also known as the Island of Roses, which will enchant you with its beaches, entertainment and architecture!
Take a step back in time and wander the streets of the old town, surrounded by medieval fortresses, visit the ancient acropolis where you will find a temple dedicated to the god Apollo, this part of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
One of the most touristy places is Mandraki, not the port of the island, here you will find all kinds of services from restaurants to boutiques to rental services.
If you want to spend a day of total relaxation, visit the thermal baths of Kallithéa, built by the Italians during the Fascist period, a place that today also hosts exhibitions and conferences.
The beaches of Rhodes are the highlight of the island:
One of the most easily accessible is Elli Beach, well known to the visitors, surrounded by white rocks and a transparent sea.
One of the most beautiful beaches on the island is undoubtedly Traganou Beach, located in Anthony Quinn Bay.
➔An island with a very oriental feel, due to its proximity to the Turkish coast, will take you on a unique holiday!
Samos Vathy is the capital, not the most lively town, but it offers a range of services to its tourists.
The town has many winding streets leading to churches and museums.
A neighbourhood to visit is Ano Vathi, a small picturesque village.
On the outskirts of the town of Vathy is the monastery of Zoodohos Pigi, with beautiful paintings in the interior.
There are many beautiful beaches. We recommend Potami beach near Karlovassi, a golden sandy beach surrounded by lush vegetation, very quiet and wild!
Lemonakia beach is in the north of Samos. It is pebbled and equipped with sun umbrellas and deck chairs.
You will discover a lively city where you can enjoy art and culture, as well as nightlife.
HERE IS A TIP: if you want the cheapest tickets on the market, ideally you should look for them months in advance on Mr Ferry so as not to fall into the trap of the high season when prices soar!
