The main town and harbour is Skala, where the white houses and lush nature make a perfect picture. This island is not only chosen by pilgrims, but also by many tourists for its tranquillity and fantastic beaches.

Another place not to be missed is the Chora, a charming medieval village perched on a hill. Here you will find the main services such as tavernas and craft shops. We recommend a visit to the Monastery of St John, a Unesco World Heritage Site, and the nearby Ecclesiastical Museum.

The beaches are another highlight of this paradise. In the northern part you will find the beautiful Didimes, the twin beaches, surrounded by nature, wild and with crystal clear sea!

➔ In the northern part of the Aegean Sea you will find an island completely different from the previous one, the island of the god of fire, Limnos! Due to its volcanic origin, part of the island has a drier landscape, with many hot springs of radioactive water, where you can enjoy your holiday in total relaxation.

The island is also famous for its lush nature and fertile land, which its inhabitants have been able to cultivate since ancient times, producing good wine, excellent olive oil and the famous honey, thanks to its flowery pastures.

The port of the island is Myrina, the main town, where you can visit the interesting archaeological museum, full of ancient finds discovered on the island. This corner of paradise is chosen for its tranquillity and beautiful beaches, both wild and equipped. The most famous are Fanaraki or Kaminia. As for gastronomy, the island offers its tourists the delicious traditional dishes, using local raw materials, they will propose you fish dishes combined with local cheeses.

🛳️ A wide range of accommodation is available on Blue Star Ferries:

You can choose the cheapest Basic Deck Passage, which does not come with an assigned seat, but does allow you to have access to different areas of the ship. 

You can also opt for an Assigned Seat, which is reclining and is located in an air-conditioned area of the ship. 

Alternatively, we recommend that you book a private cabin if you are looking for a relaxing voyage in complete privacy. Cabins can be inside or outside and have two, three or four berths.

🐾Bringing your pet on board is easy:

You can choose a cabin with access for pets, equipped with all the comforts that your pet could wish for. You can also reserve a kennel!

👉Remember to bring your pet's travel documents: ticket, leash, muzzle and health certificate.

♿For passengers with a disability:

Accessible cabins and assistance are available. These must be requested at the time of booking.

👉Remember to arrive at the embarkation point at least two hours before the time of departure indicated on your ticket. The route is very busy, especially if you are travelling by car.
