Moving towards Kontopouli you can visit the salt lakes, Alyki the largest is connected to the sea, here salt of excellent quality is produced. Among the many activities you can do, we recommend the beautiful beaches, surrounded by wilderness. To move freely on the island, we recommend you rent a quad bike, so you will have the opportunity to visit the most inaccessible beaches.
➔ Samos Karlovassi has everything you could wish for in a holiday and is certainly one of the most popular islands for tourists. The village of Karlovassi, according to findings, was inhabited by Ottoman people in 1570, the village was called Palaio, where the temple of Dionysus was built.
In Karlovassi you should visit the incredible church of the Holy Trinity, which stands on the highest point of the village, and the church of Agios Nikoalos, in neoclassical style, with its white and blue colours.
