๐Take a look at the two islands!
โ๐๏ธ Between Chios and the Turkish coast you will find an unexplored and wild island! This is Inousses, which will enchant you with its crystal clear sea and lush nature! At the beginning of the 1800s, these islands gained international fame thanks to the arms trade, which led to the development of shipbuilding. The only inhabited island is Oinoussa, but there are other smaller islands like: Vatos, Avloni, Archontoniso, Panaya and Potikoniso.
It is possible to walk in the midst of nature, along paths equipped for the most extreme sports. The beaches are all concentrated around the village and are easily accessible on foot. The beach most visited by tourists is undoubtedly Bilali, equipped and crowded, but if you want a quieter area, visit Kastro, beautiful, wild and with few people!
โ ๐๏ธSamos Karlovassi is the perfect island for those who want to have it all! Indeed, the island offers history, culture, entertainment and the sea! The part with the greatest cultural concentration is the port area, where you will find the beautiful neoclassical infrastructure. Stroll through the narrow streets and visit the churches, such as the Holy Trinity, which sits high on a hill and offers breathtaking views.
The island is also famous for its unspoilt and very wild nature. One place to visit is the Potami waterfalls, which can be reached via a forest path.
The beaches of Samos are also well worth a visit. You won't find the usual postcard beaches, but you will certainly enjoy a unique holiday away from the stress and hustle and bustle!
HERE IS A TIP: if you want the cheapest tickets on the market, ideally you should look for them months in advance so as not to fall into the trap of the high season when prices soar!
