The two ports are connected by the ferry company Anek Lines, which takes about 6 hours to cover the Heraklion Kassos crossing.   

The island of Kassos has always lived of fishing and thanks to the summer tourism even if not excessive, the island manages to enrich and sustain itself for the rest of the year. Make sure to visit some of its incredible beaches such as Embrios, a sandy beach and always clear water is easily accessible from the harbor.
