The Gothenburg Frederikshavn ferry line allows you to reach Denmark from the port of Gothenburg, the second largest city in Sweden, navigating the North Sea. The connection from the Swedish port to Frederikshavn is managed by the ferry company Stena Line and it is the fastest link between the two countries. Departures are scheduled up to 4 times a day and crossings lasts approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. Frequency and duration may change during the high season.

Ferries Gothenburg Frederikshavn On board services

On the Stena Line ships there are spacious garages that allow boarding of passengers travelling with their own vehicles (motorcycles, cars, minibuses and camping vans). Booking with a vehicle is mandatory on this line.

On board, there are all the necessary services to ensure a comfortable and pleasant trip: you will find bars and cafeterias, restaurants for every need, playrooms for children and teenagers, a TV room, shops, outdoor panoramic terraces, and Wi-Fi connection.

Depending on the ship, passengers can choose to travel on comfortable armchairs in the shared lounges or book an inside or sea view cabin, standard or luxury class, a suite or a family cabin, all with private bathrooms. Passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility can travel without worries aboard the Stena Line ships, where specially equipped, spacious cabins with private bathrooms, lifts, and assistance during the crossing are available.
