Among the many tourist activities, we recommend the fantastic waterfalls of Potami, which can be reached via a footpath through the forest.

The main centre of the island is Ermoupoli, and you will have the pleasure of discovering this town full of colour and art! The architecture is mainly neoclassical, with villas full of flowers and a unique atmosphere. In its glorious past, the town was one of the most important places for commercial and cultural exchange.

One of the most visited places by tourists are its beaches: Galissas, where you can enjoy water sports or admire its seabed. Another beautiful beach is Agathopes, near the Poseidonia landscape, with its transparent waters, which can be reached by a delightful path.
During the summer period, several festivals take place so that you can enjoy various events such as concerts and plays. One of the most awaited events of the year is the carnival of Ano Syros.
