Stena Line All departures and offers on Mr Ferry!

The ferry company Stena Line was created in 1939 in Gothenburg by Sten A. Olsson, a businessman who started his commercial activity based on transport and sale of metal materials in Sweden.

In 1946, Olsson purchased the first ship of his fleet and realized he could expands his business also in other northern European countries, in order to provide ferry connections for people and goods, promoting the economic growth of this area.

Among the maritime company's goals, sustainability and continuous expansion are the most pursued.

Stena Line ferries have reduced their environmental impact. Since the1990s Stena Line  has worked hard for reducing CO2 emission and the use of fuel by investing on the use of alternative energies (solar, wind etc.).

With its impressive fleet which includes 36 ships and around 5600 employees, Stena Line is today one of the world's largest shipping companies. It established itself as the leader in maritime transport in Northern Europe and its dense network of connections operates between the main ports of Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Latvia, Sweden and Norway.
