For three generations the Vecere family has managed the Navitremiti shipping company, formerly known as Navigazione Libera Adriatica, which began its activity with the transport of coal, resin and oranges by sea, guaranteeing connections with the Tremiti Islands, also known as the Diomedee Islands.
At the end of the 80's, with the growth of tourism, Antonio Vecere started a sea transport service aimed exclusively at passengers. He made new investments and bought two new ships in just two years.
Over the years the fleet grew, the Navitremiti ferries became more and more modern and faster, and the management of the company also changed; grandfather Antonio handed over the management of the shipping company to his son Giuseppe, who stayed until 2005 and in turn passed it on to his grandson Tony.
Today the Navitremiti sailings are managed by a fleet of 4 fast ships, all with certifications in maritime safety and environmental protection.

The Navitremiti connections are active during the tourist season and sail to the islands of San Domino and San Nicola with a wide range of times during the day.
The Navitremiti hydrofoils depart from the ports of Vieste and Rodi Garganico and take you to the discovery of the Tremiti Islands at really low prices.
On board the hydrofoils Navitremiti the crew offers with professionalism and care, assistance to people with reduced mobility both in the ports and during the navigation.
Each adult passenger is allowed to carry one piece of luggage with a maximum weight of about 30 kg. Bicycles and other large luggage are accepted on board upon payment of an additional ticket.
All pets are allowed on board the ships Navitremiti, but must be kept on a leash and wear a muzzle.
