Mar de Ons Fleet and on board services
The Mar de Ons fleet consists of 9 vessels, including catamarans and fast ferries, which make the crossings in short times and easily allow passengers to visit the islands in a day, even for a few hours.
Crossings, however short, are made enjoyable by the facilities on board, including even a bar/cafeteria and indoor and outdoor lounges from which to admire the view.
Not all boats are suitable for transporting disabled passengers, so we recommend checking and booking your ticket early (contact us for more information).
💡 What to know before booking
The regulations of Galicia's Atlantic Islands National Park, as a protected area, do not allow pets on the Cíes, Ons, and San Simón islands, so you will not be able to include them in your Mar de Ons ticket.
It is important to know that in order to reach the Cíes Islands and Ons Island during high season periods, an access permit issued by the Xunta de Galicia is required, which restricts the number of visitors in order to preserve their natural riches, see Mar de Ons transport conditions here.
By booking with MrFerry, you will not have to go through this procedure: make your reservation request on our portal and we will take care of the registration for your visit, where applicable. Along with the booking localizador, you will be directly sent the authorization QR code, with which you can collect your boarding pass upon departure!
🕙 Is it necessary to check in?
