Routes and destinations
During the summer season, Kompas offers connections between the port of Venice and the Croatian ports of Poreč , Piran, Pula, Rovinj and Umag.
The frequency of departures may vary depending on the route. The most common and popular is the ferry from Venice to Poreč, with a sailing time of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The Venice Pula ferry, which is the longest route, takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes. All other connections take about 3 hours.
Check-in and boarding
At least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time, you must be at the check-in and border control counter. To board the Kompas ferries, all passengers, including infants, must be in possession of a valid identity document: ID card only for EU nationals, passport, visa if applicable and the ferry ticket received from MrFerry.

As these are catamarans, the seating included in your Kompas ferry ticket is standard and not assigned. You are free to sit in the seats in the common areas.
🚗 Vehicles
It is not possible to take vehicles on board on Kompas catamarans, as there are no garages. Only foot passengers are allowed on board. However, it is possible to bring your bicycle for a supplement, as long as it is not electric.
🧳 Luggage
Kompas ferry ticket entitles each passenger to one piece of checked baggage with no weight or size limitations and one piece of hand luggage weighing a maximum of 10 kg (dimensions must be 56 x 45 x 25 cm).
If you have additional baggage, you will be able to check them in at the port office.
Only carry-on baggage is allowed with you in the lounge, all other baggage will be stored in the hold luggage compartment, therefore it is important that each piece of luggage is labeled with your identity.

Your pet is welcome on board Kompas ferries. It is important that you include your pet in your reservation and that you carry with you an international pet passport with all vaccinations up to date. Dogs must be on a leash and muzzled. Cats must be in their carrier.

Passengers with reduced mobility can travel on Kompas ferries. It is preferable to mention their presence at the time of booking. If they are not self-sufficient, they must travel with an accompanying person of at least 16 years of age. Depending on the catamaran, there is easy access and adapted toilets.
