Caremar Routes, times and fares

The Caremar shipping company, which takes its name from Campania Regionale Marittima, was founded in 1975. Since then, it has been running maritime connections in seven ports in the Gulf of Naples with extreme efficiency and seriousness, striving to guarantee operations even in adverse weather conditions.

Routes
With this company you can easily reach various destinations in the Gulf of Naples. From the port of Naples (there are departures from both Molo Beverello and Calata Porta di Massa) you can reach both Ischia port and Ischia Casamicciola, as well as Capri and Procida, the latter from the port of Pozzuoli, which also has departures to the various ports of Ischia. One of the most popular itineraries is Naples Capri, with numerous departures throughout the day; the island can also be easily reached from the port of Sorrento.

Fares
Caremar applies different fares depending on the age group and the type of vessel they will be boarding. On ferries, infants from 0 to 4 years old are FREE, while children from 4 to 12 years old pay a reduced fare. On high-speed vessels, however, children aged 0 to 2 are free passengers and children aged 2 to 12 are concessionary passengers. On both ferries, all passengers aged 12 and over are adult passengers. On board Caremar ferries you can take your own private vehicle (car, motorbike or bicycle). Vehicles are not allowed inside the hydrofoils as there are no garages that can hold them.

💺 Accommodation
With this company, it is not possible to choose the type of accommodation, as at the time of purchase you are automatically allocated a deck passage, which allows travellers to pass through and sit in the communal areas available. However, if you buy a Caremar hydrofoil ticket, you will automatically be allocated a seat.

🍴 Bars
Inside all Caremar ferries and hydrofoils you will find bars where you can enjoy a hot/cold drink or snack.

♿ Accessibility
If you are, or are travelling with, a passenger with reduced mobility, you can request assistance with both boarding and disembarking.

🐾 Pet
Take your four-legged friend with you when you travel! You can take your pet with you on board Caremar vehicles. During the crossing, you must keep your pet in the designated areas and remember that you must have a lead, a muzzle, a pet carrier for all small animals and a valid health certificate with vaccinations. When boarding, make sure you have everything you need to avoid any problems during the procedures.

🧳 Luggage
On Caremar's ferries, you and each passenger listed on the booking are entitled to take one piece of luggage free of charge, up to a maximum weight of 20 kg. On the other hand, if you choose to travel on one of the company's hydrofoils, you can take one item of luggage weighing 10kg and measuring 50cm x 40cm x 20cm on board at no extra cost.
