Brittany Ferries All departures and offers on Mr Ferry!

Brittany Ferries is a Breton shipping company founded in the 1970s. Originally established to transport agricultural products from Roscoff to Plymouth, over the decades Brittany Ferries has become one of the leading shipping companies on the Western and Central Channel. With Britain's accession to the European Union, the huge market potential for both import/export and tourism was recognized.

The ferry company operates one of the largest fleets in Europe, consisting of 11 vessels and over 2500 employees. The Brittany Ferries ships are spacious and have been recently renovated to ensure that passengers on board can enjoy every comfort and a fast and comfortable journey.

With the largest number of crossings in the Channel, Brittany Ferries departures are very frequent and offer the possibility of embarking from various ports in Brittany or the Normandy region of France, as well as from the south of England, Ireland and Spain

Brittany Ferries Fleet and on board services

Brittany Ferries ships depart from the British port of Portsmouth to the French ports of Le Havre, St. Malo, Caen and Cherbourg, and to the Spanish cities of Bilbao and Santander.

Other ships depart from the port of Plymouth in England to the ports of Roscoff in Brittany and Santander in northern Spain. Other lines sail from the Irish port of Cork to Roscoff, from the English port of Poole to Cherbourg and from Rosslare, in the south of Ireland, to the ports of Roscoff, Bilbao and Cherbourg

The fleet has ships with different capacities and equipment, allowing passengers to travel comfortably in a cabin or armchair; there are also facilities for disabled passengers or with reduced mobility. Brittany Ferries ships have restaurants, bars, free Wi-Fi, outdoor areas, a children's playground and few shops.

If you are traveling with pets (dogs or cats), it is mandatory to bring a vehicle. This is a requirement of the "DEFRA" authority in England. Passengers wishing to travel with their four-legged friends are advised to book in advance, as Pet-Friendly cabins or kennels on board may be limited. Depending on the route and time of year, pets may also remain in the vehicle during the crossing. The use of a muzzle and leash is always mandatory during the trip.
