The Caremar shipping company has two types of ferries, which take different times to cross the Gulf of Naples.
The fast ferries take 50 minutes, while the classic ferries - larger and with more spacious garages - take up to 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach Capri.
Departures during the off season - October to May- are about 6 per day: the first departing at 5:35am and the last departing at 7:40pm. During the high season - June to September - departures from Naples to Capri are increased to a maximum of 10 departures per day, with the first departure at 4:00am and the last at 9:30pm.

Naples Capri ferry Check-in and, traffic restriction and on board services
On the day of your departure to Capri, you must report to the company's port ticket office at Calata Porta di Massa to check in for your ferry from Naples to Capri.
Arrive at the Caremar ticket office 30 minutes before your departure time if traveling on foot and 1 hour earlier if traveling by vehicle.

The only route that allows you to take your vehicle to the island of Capri is the ferry leaving from the port of Naples, you need to know, however, that Capri is subjected, especially during the high season, to traffic restrictions that preclude the possibility of taking vehicles on board with the exception of residents.
While bringing a car to Capri may seem like a good idea, keep in mind that the roads are narrow, the summer traffic is heavy with buses, trucks and taxis, and most importantly, parking is EXTREMELY limited - it is almost impossible to find parking on the island.
