The Caremar shipping company has two types of ferries, which take different times to cross the Gulf of Naples.

Departures during the off season - October to May- are about 6 per day: the first departing at 5:35am and the last departing at 7:40pm. The only route that allows you to take your vehicle to the island of Capri is the ferry leaving from the port of Naples, you need to know, however, that Capri is subjected, especially during the high season, to traffic restrictions that preclude the possibility of taking vehicles on board with the exception of residents.
While bringing a car to Capri may seem like a good idea, keep in mind that the roads are narrow, the summer traffic is heavy with buses, trucks and taxis, and most importantly, parking is EXTREMELY limited - it is almost impossible to find parking on the island.
