What to do in Positano:

Arrived in Positano you will immediately be enchanted by the beauty of its streets, its pastel-colored houses built one on top of the other, and its warm atmosphere! Positano along with the entire wonderful Amalfi Coast is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Venture through its narrow streets full of truly original souvenir stores, pottery workshops, ice cream parlors and typical little restaurants where you can sample the many local gastronomic delights.

  • Visit the remains of the beautiful Roman Villa and its Crypt, and be sure not to miss the church of Santa Maria Assunta, with its splendid dome covered in colorful majolica tiles.

  • Finally, take a break at the beach, and if you have time to spare, reach the beautiful beaches of Fornillo and Arienzo or the very famous Fiordo di Furore!

This is an active connection only from June to October. Cetara Positano hydrofoil departures are quite frequent and occur on average 6 times a day, both in the morning and in the afternoon. The duration of the crossing is about 20 to 30 minutes.

Before boarding your fast ferry, here is some information you may find useful:

  • ⛴️ On board: By travelling with the Amalfi Salerno Concordia hydrofoils you can enjoy some on-board amenities such as toilets, a small bar serving snacks and drinks, a large air-conditioned lounge, various seating areas, and outdoor decks where you can relax and enjoy the view!

  • 🧳 Luggage: One piece of luggage with a maximum size of 45x35x20 and one unassigned seat are included in the ticket. Need to take some extra luggage with you? You can declare them directly at the port when collecting your boarding passes!

  • 💺 Accommodation: On board are available a bar/cafeteria where you will be able to grab a snack or a cup of coffee while navigating towards your destination. Each ticket includes the boarding fee and you can sit wherever you like in the armchair lounges. 

  • 🐾 Pets: Your pet is welcome on board and must be inserted in your reservation at the time of booking, wear a muzzle and be kept on a leash. Small animals will be allowed to stay in their cages, while others will only be allowed to travel in the areas designated for them.

  • 🚫 Due to the lack of a garage, vehicles are not allowed on board the Travelmar hydrofoils.
